Sasha trained at the Academy of Live and Recording Arts, graduating with a BA Hons in Acting and previously trained in Performing Arts at Pendleton College. Since graduating Sasha has performed in several productions including ‘And then you kissed me’ at the Lowry, JB Shorts and CWITA100 at 53Two, Take back Theatre ‘Our Girls’ at the Hope Mill Theatre, and the Cartwright Cabaret at the Palace Theatre whereby she worked closely with famous playwright Jim Cartwright. Sasha filmed Judy for the BFI, working with director Matthew Dunster and alongside Maxine Peake. She starred in ‘Incompatible’ for the BFI directed by Maxine Peake and in Coronation Street. Incompatible has been accepted into several film festivals that are due to be showcased. Sasha not only loves to act but also to teach. She has worked as a freelance acting tutor since 2016 and has directed numerous productions working with both children and adults.
Heather trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, graduating with an MA Distinction in Acting. She is now a freelance director, actor and creative working in theatre and film. Since graduating, Heather has worked for various theatres and production companies; these include for The National Theatre, BBC, ITV, Meerkat films, Live Theatre (Newcastle), Northern Stage, HOME, alongside various UK Drama Schools. Heather is also an associate artist of Actors for Human Rights. Heather won a Journal Culture Award as 'Best Newcomer' for her performance in Death at Dawn (Cloud Nine Productions) and was nominated for a Manchester Theatre Award for her performance in Raw (Troublehouse Theatre).
John is a Theatre maker from Salford. He graduated from Mountview Academy in 2014 and has worked as an actor, writer and director since. His most recent work includes: Am I Queer? (The Lowry & Bury Met), Murder at the Mill (Hope Mill Theatre) Producer and director of Salford’s first rep company (Salford Arts Theatre), Artistic Residency (Bolton Octagon), Roots (Oldham Coliseum). John is the founder and director of Up’Ere Productions which champions emerging artists across the North. He was recently chosen to be an artist at this years Manchester International Festival. He completed filming on upcoming BBC Drama ‘Boat Story’ earlier this year and recently took part in OFF CUTS at 53Two. His most recent play, ‘Coke, Machines, Stars & Kisses opened at53Two in August to rave reviews and he has been busy directing two third year plays at Rose Brusford North. John is represented by Joi Rouncefield at Urban Talent Actors.
Evie has been dancing since the age of five, she started her training at McLaren Dance Company, where she also spent time teaching the younger students at the studio. She continued there whilst completing a BTEC Level 3 in Musical Theatre at Shockout Arts. Evie continued her training with Shockout by embarking on a degree in Professional Dance and Choreography. Whilst growing up Evie has competed in dance competitions all over the UK, performing in annual theatre dance shows and flash mobs. Alongside her training Evie's passion was attending various masterclasses and workshops all over the UK, in all genres of dance.
Charlotte trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, completing both a foundation course and a three-year BA Hons graduating in 2015. She developed her singing skills under the guidance of John Biddulph from ages 11-18, spending many years singing in concerts, musicals, and participating in competitions. After graduating, Charlotte worked as a professional actor/singer and worked for companies such as Channel 4, BBC and in touring Theatre productions across the country, including the original stage production of Robert Macfarlane's book The Lost Words. Recently, she has transitioned to a career behind the scenes in television production, working for ITV Lifted Entertainment and Channel 4/Rumpus Media. Charlotte also works as a freelance singing tutor.
Amy trained at Studios La Pointe in Leeds, she won scholarship for her place (D.A.D.A) and graduated in 2007 with a Trinity Approved National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. While at college she also gained her I.S.T.D Advanced 2 Tap and Modern (distinctions). Amy had a West End Agent but decided that teaching was her passion, she has taught at several dance schools/theatre schools, primary/high schools and colleges since graduating. In 2017 Amy graduated from the University of Salford with a BA HONS in Physical and Dance Theatre. Amy has also completed her PGCE in teaching Dance and Drama.
Chloe has been performing since she was 6 years old, in Musical theatre, TV, commercials and plays up and down the UK. Her career started in Emmerdale as Roxy Lockart and ITV The Royal as Louise Farnworth. After graduating from ALRA drama school she has been lucky to continue working as well as setting up Dramallama & M25 Theatre School.
TV credits include; Coronation street, CBBC So Awkward, ITV The Long Shadow, Doctors, Lookers Commercials, Brewdog commercials, Barclaycard.
Theatre credits include: Sans Merci (Hope Mill), Be More Martyn (UK Tour) Thank You For Doing Nothing (Silent Uproar), Jack and The Beanstalk (Wakefield Theatre Royal) The Tale Trail (New Vic).
Rick trained at ALRA North, graduating in 2011. He is co-founder of Troublehouse Theatre and artistic director of Plough On Sunday productions. He plays Doctor Ackerley on Coronation Street and his recent TV credits include: The Long Shadow, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and The Undeclared War. His theatre credits include Contact Theatre and The Royal Exchange. Alongside acting professionally, Rick works with the National Theatre and the Lowry Theatre to deliver their Speak Up Program and also teaches acting for camera at Act Up North.
Each week you will be welcomed to class by either Paige or Marie. They have worked as our front of house consistently and they are always ready, with a smile to answer any questions and ease your child in.
Alongside our regular tutors, we often invite guest industry professionals into our classes to run workshops with our children.
